Parks and Playgrounds

The Marie Peeples Park is located along Route 344 in Pirate Harbour. It is a perfect spot to enjoy the scenic waters of the Strait of Canso while your children enjoy the various playground equipment.

Venus Cove Park is located near the entrance to the Town of Mulgrave. It faces south looking out to waters of the Strait of Canso. The park has a bandstand that has hosted many musical acts over the past number of years. The park itself is home to many activities during the annual Scotia Days Festival in July. Come and enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch at the park and stroll over the road to the Mulgrave Heritage Center for an afternoon of historical fare.
